  • What is the best way to heat up Angel’s pitas?
    Our pita is flash frozen the moment it comes out of the oven to ensure its freshness. When you take your pitas from the freezer, avoid thawing or defrosting them. You will want to immediately heat them up in a microwave or toaster oven. You can also microwave them in the bag it comes in (which warms the pitas by steaming them) or steam them in your own plastic bag/container.
  • Are your pitas Kosher / Halal?
    Artisan-branded pitas are certified Kosher Parve by the Kof-K and are also certified Halal by the Halal Food Council U.S.A.

  • What’s the enzyme in this pita?
    Angel’s Bakery’s pitas are made with only clean-label, vegetarian-friendly ingredients. The proprietary blend of plant-based enzymes in our pitas are naturally occurring and there simply to break down the starches to achieve the texture and taste our customers know and love.
